Presbyterian Church in Ireland

The Council for Social Witness which is effectively the Social Care Department of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. For well over 150 years our Church has been providing assistance to those in need and to the marginalised. Over the years we have responded to the changing needs of both church and society. Communities have been enriched as a result of the programmes we provide and in the context of the reduction in serviced, we are supplementing the work of the statutory Social Care Services.

The Council for Social Witness employs approximately 450 staff in 17 locations.
