Job Purpose:

The role of the EMEA Leadership Comms and Engagement Manager is to maximise engagement with the prevailing learning philosophy at Citi EMEA, and with the learning offerings available, through effective and targeted communications and marketing initiatives.


Job Background/Context:

Citi Learning is focused on creating, curating and procuring learning solutions to support the development of leadership and management capabilities at Citi, now and for the future.

This is a new job share position alongside the regional Leadership Engagement and Performance Support manager.

Citi Learning have deep learning design and delivery expertise and our aim is to provide employees access to a rich catalogue of internal and external development offerings. We are looking for new ways to advance engagement with the learning opportunities on offer by finding new ways to spark conversations and enable employees to own their development.


Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on learner engagement with Leadership offerings through skilful communications and marketing. This will include partnership with colleagues across Citi Learning, GPA (Communications), the businesses/functions and HR, as well as external partner networks.
• Manage budget associated with collateral creation via creative studio. 
• Outline the timeline, delivery calendar and engagement materials needed to support new and revised program launches and provide input into regional Learning project plans.
• Utilize an array of existing channels and tools and emerging technology to deliver consistent and clear messages globally; assist in translations activities as needed.
• Seek to advance adoption and use of Citi Collaborate (internal social platform) within the Leadership Development Team
• Write and edit content for intranet sites including Collaborate, internal announcements, blogs, newsletters, etc.
• Work in partnership with Global Leadership team to develop and continuously improve offerings ensuring EMEA regional talent and skill development priorities are effectively represented and reflected in the curriculum
• Work with EMEA Learning Advisors, Learning Cluster leads, Talent leads and other HR partners to plan, coordinate and communicate regarding the LEAP global offerings to maximise learner engagement promoting the use of consistent language and messages across Leadership Matters, Talent and Diversity initiatives (etc.) 
• Partner with EMEA Citi Learning supporting initiatives such as #bemore and creatively incorporating key themes in LEAP communications and products as appropriate
• Support learner engagement across EMEA and encourage self-development behaviours through ongoing review of communications and marketing to employees for effectiveness and impact.
• Provide robust partnership and input to shaping the global Citi Learning Leadership agenda, and help to ensure that the agenda is understood and relayed to the EMEA Citi Learning team for effective and timely engagement. 
• Project manage communications and marketing initiatives for Citi Learning EMEA including close partnership with regional Learning Advisors on business specific projects as required
• Support Learning Advisors by creating effective communications for cascade to their businesses, products and functions. Identify the messaging, measurable outcomes to be achieved, audiences, creative concepts, communications channels, cadence and metrics for all EMEA Leadership Development engagement tactics and strategies.
• Support global learning initiatives through communication, sustainability, stakeholder management and oversight, as required. This would include the attraction, development and retention of Leaders Teaching Leaders (LTL) faculty, including some external partners and our most senior regional Executives.
• Partner with colleagues in the Citi Learning team to support and engage our internal Leadership development faculty.
• Ensure a thorough review, edit and update process is followed for all functional activities.
• Provide assistance with event planning and management and other internal team/program communications.
• Complete projects, assignments and tasks as determined by the Head of EMEA Leadership Development.

Knowledge/Experience:

• Previous experience with talent brand, employment, internal employee cultural or marketing communications 
• Experience of, and comfortable working in, a global corporate environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under deadline pressure
• Able to work with ambiguous and complex information sets 
• Positively orientated, problem solving mindset
• Comfortable with change and managing multiple demands
• Interest and curiosity for learning and current trends, especially virtual learning trends and Adult learning theories
