General Manager – Finance & Operations
CPL are delighted to be recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to take up a General Manager – Finance & Operations position on behalf of a Multisite Retail organisation across Northern Ireland.
Reporting directly into the Group Operations Director the successful candidate will be leading the Retail Operations across the North in managing third party providers and associated budgets for the business across six locations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Finance professional / FC level candidate with the ability to manage numbers, strategy and people.
The role itself is high profile, requiring an individual who will complete a period of initial due diligence of the financial performance of all operating sites
Ability to forecast and analyse data with multiple variables to deliver sound and credible proposals.
Deliver first class reporting and forecasting to drive profitability and growth throughout the business.
Continuous analysis and review of operating efficiencies and identifying areas for improvement and ensuring follow through
Overall responsibility for P&L within the region including preparation and review of a monthly management reporting pack, and with full analysis & commentary on performance, for presentation to the executive management team and stakeholders.
Working closely with Management team on strategic direction of the region producing scenario plans and presenting findings.
Drive all projects within Retail Operations remit at an appropriate pace ensuring buy in from all stakeholders
Ensure region is represented and have a voice at an appropriate level on all projects
The Ideal Candidate
Fully Qualified Accountant
Experience of acting in the capacity of Financial Controller or similar role, in a commercial organisation,.
Proven experience of helping to grow an organisation in a multi-stakeholder environment and supporting the development of revenue streams
Leadership skills with superb people skills and the capacity to influence negotiate and drive performance at a senior level.
Commercial & Entrepreneurial decision making aptitude and an analytical approach to problem solving.
Exceptional communication skills coupled with a strong strategic skill set in forecasting, budgetary, banking, and financial business planning are required to be successful in this role.
Salary is negotiable and will be packaged to attract the best candidate on the market
