Engineering Jobs: Electro / Mech Engineer Job, Our Client in County Fermanagh, one of the UK and Ireland’s most diverse and experienced manufacturers of construction products, require an Electro / Mech Engineer to join their team in Fermanagh on a permanent basis. Salary:£35,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) excellent benefits, including company van and engineering development programme.

The Company:

A well-established engineering business specialising in the manufacture of construction products, require an experienced Electro / Mech engineer to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the role of Electro / Mech Engineer will involve duties such as: complete fault finding, installation, machinery updates, PLC’s inverter drivers, trouble shooting and technical support initiatives.

Key Duties:

These duties, which may be altered from time to time, are to carry out, under direction of the Manager, and include:

  • Project planning, management development and implementation & control
  • PLC programming and trouble shooting
  • Carryout visual inspections of electrical equipment assess, fault diagnose and repair.
  • Maintain
  • To work with Maintenance System to carry out weekly, monthly, 6 monthly checks on all plant and equipment.
  • To assist in continuous improvement philosophy geared towards making the Company more competitive and profitable.
  • Test, inspect, maintain, and repair wiring systems, generator systems, motor control centres, energy management systems, communications equipment, fire alarm systems, signal timers, lights, and equipment according to work orders and wiring diagrams.
  • Test, inspect, maintain, and make electrical repairs on specialized equipment such as hydraulic systems, research instrumentation, and be familiar with PLC’s, converter drives and thermocouples.

The Person:

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will come from a similar background and will be looking for the next challenge in their career. Self-starting and motivated, applicants will also need to satisfy the following:

 

Essential Criteria:

 

-          Electrical  / Mechanical Apprenticeship level 3 or equivalent

-          Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Experience

-          Excellent Team working ethic

-          Excellent leadership skills

-          5 years + experience in a similar role

 

Desirable Criteria:

-          Knowledge of health & Safety at work

Benefits:

Salary:  £35,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) excellent benefits, including company van and engineering development programme.
