Veterans’ Support Office Northern Ireland – Development Manager

A vacancy has arisen for a part-time Development Manager within the Veterans’ Support Office NI (VSONI). This post is based in Belfast and the successful candidate will be expected to reside within daily travelling distance.  This is a Crown Servant Grade C2 post.

The successful applicant will be on a 5 year contract and will be required to work a 33 hour week (includes lunchbreaks – 29 hour net).  The post holder will report to the Chief Executive of the NI Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (RFCA NI) for the day to day operational delivery of the programme and to Director of Operations, Cobseo for the strategic delivery of the programme. 

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge and understanding of veterans’ affairs and welfare provision in NI, will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively without supervision. 

The salary for the appointment is £24,908 per annum. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to auto-enrol in a free-standing pension scheme.

The appointment is for a probationary period of 6 months in the first instance.
