Billing/Credit Control Assistant (maternity leave)

VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting for a highly successful East Belfast based organisation for a Billing/Credit Control Assistant to cover maternity leave. The Billing/Credit Control Assistant will be responsible for the management and issuing of invoices to clients and answering queries relating to invoices.


Duties include:

  • Attendance at weekly project and management meetings
  • Printing and updating monthly forecasting reports for weekly management meetings
  • Preparation of invoices on system
  • Issue of invoices to the clients
  • Inputting invoices onto Sage
  • Printing off aged debt reports from Sage and chasing payment
  • Liaison with Project Managers/Directors of any difficult clients
  • Processing of small claims if needed
  • Any other duties as required

The Ideal Person:

  • More than 3 years experience within a busy finance function
  • Experience of Credit Control and Invoicing
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload
  • Previous use of Sage would be advantageous
