Belfast Harbour is one of the principal maritime gateways on the island of Ireland, facilitating importer’s and exporter’s links with Great Britain, Europe and onward to worldwide markets.
Belfast Harbour is also Northern Ireland’s leading logistics and distribution hub and is the location of many well-known businesses and landmarks including Titanic Quarter, Odyssey Complex, Holywood Exchange, George Best City Airport, Harland & Wolff, Bombardier, Citi, and the NI Science Park.
In recent years the Harbour has established itself as a renewable energy hub, completing the development of the UK’s first off shore wind logistics terminal. In 2014 Belfast Harbour will embark on the first phase of the ambitious £250m City Quays development creating office, residential and retail buildings, along Belfast’s city river frontage.
