Assistant Accountant

Client:

VANRATH are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant for an organisation based in Draperstown in County Antrim. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant with good all round accounts experience to join a small, but growing team on a full time permanent basis.

Salary:

£22,000 - £26,000 per annum + study support

Responsibilities:

To provide financial information and management reporting to the business, generating weekly KPI's, produce monthly period accounts and support the budget and forecast production.

  • Management Accounts
  • Nominal ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Petty Cash
  • Cash Books
  • VAT Processing
  • Expense Analysis
  • FCA returns

The Ideal Person:

  • Part - Qualified Accountant with membership of a professional body e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA OR qualified Accounting Technician
  • General book-keeping & accounts preparation experience
  • Experience in Accounts Packages, ideally in Sage Accounts / ERP system
