We are expanding our Global Business Services (GBS) site in Lurgan and as a result are recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Lead to become part of our global team.

About the Position

Position Overview 

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Team Lead is a position within GBS focused in the Customer to Cash business cycle.  This role leads and actively participates in all aspects of invoice distribution, cash receipt, cash application, reconciliation, and collections.

Responsibilities

The AR Team Lead will actively lead the AR team with accounts receivable transactional processing responsibilities.  This position is a lead role in the accounts receivable area which calls for excellent skills in communication, time management, attention to detail, and customer service.  A successful team member in this role will partner with sales, finance, and customers to ensure results are achieved while providing world-class customer service.  This role is also responsible to create an environment and culture that fosters business process improvement and continued team member development

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (finance related discipline preferred) or candidates with substantial experience gained without this qualification will be considered
  • Strong proven experience in credit control and staff supervision with proven experience in meeting targets
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and high volume environment is essential - shared service center experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in accounting and financial systems
  • Knowledge in using financial systems, along with a high degree of competency in MS Office suite
  • Experience in interfacing with business operational customers
  • Experience in Customer to Cash process improvement and application systems implementation

    • Understanding and best practices of credit, billing, cash application and collections

    • Knowledge of financial systems
    • Internal controls experience
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets
    • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Good written and oral communication skills
