Accounting Technician

Client:

VANRATH are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for an Accounting Technician to support the accounts team situated within a fantastic organisation based in North Belfast. The role of Accounting Technician is a new role within the company and will be a role crucial in enabling the efficient running of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing and maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Daily postings of bank transactions and weekly bank reconciliations
  • Credit Control
  • Weekly Credit Card and Petty Cash reconciliations
  • Assisting Financial Controller in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Payroll Processing, full end to end for weekly and monthly internal staff
  • Managing monthly staff expenses process
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a busy Finance/Accounts function
  • Qualified Accounts Technician or finishing final year of Accounts Technician course.
  • Advanced Excel skills

Remuneration:

£20,000 - £25,000 per annum + annual bonus
