Grampian Country Pork Cookstown is part of the Vion Food Group which is one of Europes largest food companies. Employing over 30,000 people in the U.K., Europe and the Far East, Vion is a major supplier of a wide range of foodstuffs and ingredients.

The Cookstown site is a complete pork processing operation and currently has the largest pork slaughter throughput of any single facility in the U.K. or Ireland. Operating to the highest standards, the Company holds British Retail Consortium Accreditation (BRC), Bord Bia and BQAP accreditation and a United States Department of Agriculture licence.

As well as slaughter facilities the site has fully developed facilities for boning, bacon curing and slicing, sausage manufacture and pre-packed fresh pork production.

The customer base includes Tesco, Asda, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury and Dunnes as well as local multiples within Northern Ireland. The Company also sells products under the Cookstown brand label in the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland markets.
