VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for a Trainee Accountant support ta global accounts team situated within a fantastic professional services company based in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Accountancy graduate to step into their first Trainee Accountant role and our client will offer a fantastic training and benefits package for the right candidate.

The Ideal Person:

  • Obtained a minimum of a second class degree, upper division (2:1), or equivalent, in a discipline with a high level of numerical or financial content e.g. Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business and Finance, Business and Economics etc.
  • Excellent numeric and analytic skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel.
  • Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • The ability to plan, organise and complete numerous projects or assignments simultaneously and to tight deadlines.
