Terumo BCT Ltd Larne manufactures a range of sterile fluids for human and veterinary use. The successful candidate will manage the procurement and supply of direct materials to support the factory production plan, deliver cost & inventory reduction programmes to positively impact the business.
Strategic Supply Chain Buyer
(Ref No: 16/21)
(Salary: Negotiable + Bens)
Duties will include:
Manage a portfolio of vendors across different commodity groups to drive continuous improvement within the Terumo BCT supply chain
Implement effective category management strategies for direct and indirect material procurement
Identify opportunities to achieve positive PPV & cost savings
Manage tendering process for new product development
Conduct weekly supplier management business reviews
Develop & manage forecasting processes within the supply base
Utilise SAP to generate supply chain reporting information
Ensure accurate pricing and supply data is maintained on SAP
Manage SAP master data to optimize supply chain efficiencies
Manage New Product Introduction projects
Manage commercial issues within the supply base
Develop strong business relationships with other internal functions
Define & introduce a consolidated approach to freight management
