Senior Java Software Engineer Job in Belfast

Acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client, CPL N.I. Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Senior Java Software Engineers for permanent roles based in Belfast.

The Client:

Job Role:

·         Desk pricing applications within FX - complex pricing applications running on Weblogic, and based on a vendor framework for pipeline processing;

·         Development of the FX Bench Pricing applications, producing Benchmark FX Prices for Citi.

·         Development for FX Options Online, the online options platform within Citi FX; Other smaller pieces of work on other ECommerce apps within FX.

·         The team is 7-strong and the role offers the opportunity to work within an established team which has good knowledge of the platforms and business with which they work; and the opportunity to work alongside resources in London and New York, developing software for a fast moving market.

Experience and skill set requirements for the Senior Java Software Engineer Jobs include:

·         Java server development ; OO Design ; Unix shell

·         Knowledge of software development methodology

·         Desirable: JEE / Weblogic Oracle Experience in working on complex codebases.

·         Optional: Tibco Rendezvous / Other messaging technologies
