There is currently a key requirement for an experienced SQL Server Developer to join one of the most dynamic and diverse teams within the Belfast operation.
The Role
This position sits within a key business area and concerns the development, enhancement and operation of information systems in order to increase productivity and competitiveness. It is an opportunity to join a team working in a broad mix of technologies and to work with some of the most cutting-edge applications and solutions out there. Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Development of an in-house feed framework from a Microsoft SQL Server Data Warehouse
- Extracting data from the warehouse for use in reports, scorecards, dashboards, business intelligence and analytical modeling
- Requirements analysis and capture, working with other teams to define solutions
The Person
We are keen to speak to career-minded Analysis or ICT professionals with knowledge and experience of the following:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and SQL-92 standard experience
- Commercial experience in MSSQL, SSAS, SSRS, SIS, MDX
- A background in developing and implementing business initiatives, client solutions and projects
- Ability to communicate well and build sound relationships with other teams
You will need to have a real focus on developing your career and gaining experience in a lively and dynamic environment and also to using your SQL experience to date and building on this with the addition of new tools in your skill set.
