Your new company This QA Engineer job based in Belfast will give a QA Engineer/Analyst the opportunity to work with a Global 2000 company. As a testing professional you will work in the QA department for TPS. Paying a salary of up to £55k this opportunity while demanding will give the QA appointed the opportunity to partner with development, business and support teams building an understanding of the varied and complex business functionality supported by financial trading systems. Your new role The QA Engineer that joins this team will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, scripts and test cases while identifying project scope and risks. You will create and maintain test artifacts - test plans, test cases and test scripts. As a QA Engineer in this role you will create automated test and contribute towards improving the existing automation framework capabilities, conduct manual and automated testing, analysing results and reporting any release impacts and risks. What you'll need to succeed Have you a strong background and working experience of functional and/or non-functional testing for enterprise applications following iterative and agile style projects? Do you have a working knowledge of the Java programming language preferred in automation testing? An understanding of financial market concepts around interest rates/credit derivatives, trade cycles would be a major plus for this role.
