Purchase ledger Job, 12 month contract, Co. Armagh, Highly competitive annual salary. Your new company This well established and fast growing business based in Co. Armagh are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger clerk to join their Finance team on a 12 month contract. Your new role Reporting into the Accounts Manager you will process purchase invoices and allocations of payments made (sterling and euro), reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis, maintain receipts and payment journals, VAT and intrastate returns. You will also look after bank reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations. You will also deal with supplier account calls and agree payments in line with policy. What you'll need to succeed You will have strong previous purchase ledger / accounts payable experience and ideally have strong sage experience. You will have the ability to work using your own initiative and work conscientiously within a team. Experience in a high volume environment would be beneficial.
