Hays have once again been retained by our client, a market leading Northern Irish Civil Engineering Contractor who has a requirement for a Project Manager to join their senior operational team on a permanent basis due to large scale growth throughout the UK and Northern Ireland. Our client finds themselves sitting at the forefront of the civil engineering market and can offer the successful candidate the opportunity to flourish and develop their career plan. The company has an enviable order book into 2017/18 therefore offering consistency and stability on an exciting project portfolio.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be expected to oversee and monitor the daily activity and overall progress of the scheme and must be capable of producing design plans, calculations and reports. Furthermore, applicants must have the ability to review package schedules, project progress and estimate the overall cost and budgetary requirements. It is preferred that the successful applicant comes from a heavy civil engineering background as you will be expected to provide technical and professional construction support to on site staff team and the client / design bodies.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client has a need for an experienced Project Manager who can join their Civils division and bring with them a demonstrable track record in undertaking a Project lead role and evidence of quality and delivery. The company has current project spanning the New Build Road / Motorway, Piling, Marine, WWTW /STW and Road Resurfacing sectors. Furthermore it would further desirable that the successful applicant has experience of overseeing projects in excess of £30M in value.
