Role & responsibilities:

We are currently seeking a Microsoft Project Administrator who will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of project schedules encompassing multiple geographic locations at a detailed design and project level. The Project Administrator shall closely support the PM in timely delivery of project outcomes and programme benefits.

The Project Administrator shall be responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of engineering technical projects that impact multiple departments, multiple geographic locations, systems, or work-flows with moderate to high risk and complexity in one or more project (s).

As a member of the project management team, the person will work closely with other team members in collecting and routing information. Will Interact with all project team members and management to ensure schedule compliance remains and is respected by all parties. Will also identify then report relevant issues or areas of concern that jeopardise the timely delivery of project outcomes and programme benefits.

Present regular project reports, both written and oral, to PM and cross functional teams. In addition to general project status, the reports may also include both short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.

Essential Criteria

  • A graduate with a min 2:1 degree in engineering, IT, business, or other relevant discipline.

  • Demonstrated experience using Project Management software tools and advanced level experience with MS Project.

  • Proven ability to apply sound logic when translating information into a logical sequence of events, which require fully linked dependencies.

  • Good grasp of MS Word, Sharepoint and MS Excel.

  • Able to effectively manage small to routine projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain schedules within Project Server.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Independent, self-starter attitude with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner with little supervision or direction.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change.

  • Collaborative working style and ability to develop/sustain productive work relationships with key stakeholders across all areas and levels of the organization as well as external consultants.

  • Excellent written and oral English.

  • Be an EU passport holder.

     

Desirable Criteria

  • A minimum of 3 years in a project planning role.

  • AACEI/ACCA/APM/PMI Certification
