Perfecseal Europe is based in Campsie in Londonderry and operates from a new “World Class” Manufacturing Facility. The company re-located in August 2007 to the current 120,000sqft purpose built facility on a Greenfield 17 acre site. It is a state of the art manufacturing environment which facilitates lean manufacturing, seamless product flow as well as a 100,000 cleanroom capability.

Globally, the Bemis Group employs over 16,000 individuals in 62 manufacturing facilities in 11 countries around the world, and reported sales and net income (before taxation) in the year ended 31 December 2007 of $3.6bn and $286mn, respectively. Locally Perfecseal currently employs circa 300 permanent employees at the Campsie facility.

Perfecseal design and manufacture Sterile Barrier Systems for the medical device and pharmaceutical industry. Sales from the Campsie facility will be circa £30mn for the year ending 2009. Our unique Sterile Barrier technology protects medical devices that are used to save lives every day in operating theatres throughout the world. It is estimated that one billion sterile healthcare products are protected by sterile barrier systems manufactured at Perfecseal each year.
