Payroll Administrator

VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting for a leading manufacturing organisation based in South Down on a long term temporary basis. The Payroll Administrator will be required to compile payroll data to ensure the accurate processing of the large monthly payroll.


Duties include:

  • Accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll
  • Compiles payroll data such as overtime hours worked
  • Calculation of company sick pay, maternity pay and paternity pay
  • Reviews payroll to ensure accuracy of wages
  • Responds appropriately and in a timely manner to employee queries
  • Responsibility for accurate and timely administration of the company pension scheme
  • Processing of payroll payments through BACS system on a monthly basis
  • Any other general administration as required

The Ideal Person:

  • Minimum of 2 years previous payroll experience
  • Knowledge of statutory payments and legislation
  • Strong IT skills with working experience in Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Administration experience of a company pension scheme
