Northgate Managed Services is part of the Northgate Information Solutions Group, owned by private equity company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts KKR. It a leading IT services company providing infrastructure services to both public and private sector organisations and specialist ICT managed services in the education, government and utilities sectors.

Employing over 1,300 people across the UK, we support over 2000 customers with 420,000 end users responding to over 100,000 service desk calls annually.

We work in partnership with our customers to gain a deep understanding of their objectives to design, implement and deliver services and solutions to meet these needs. We operate in a number of sectors.

Education - In partnership with C2k in Northern Ireland, Northgate has been supporting all 1200 schools for over 7 years. In the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and Academies programme in England, Northgate are working in Partnership with Local Authorities in Bristol, Kent, Leicester and Blackburn with Darwen and Bolton to support transformation in teaching and learning using ICT.

Energy and Utilities – We have a long history of delivering services tailored to meet the needs of the Energy and Utilities sector. With a strong presence in Ireland we deliver services to the Viridian group, NI Water and Bord Gáis. Our focus is working in partnership with our customers to deliver better services to their customers and achieve organisational efficiencies.

Central and Local Government - We have a long history of success in ICT outsourcing with long term strategic partnerships with Hartlepool, Reading and Greenwich Borough Councils as well as the Driver and Vehicle Agency (NI) and more recently with North Lanarkshire Council.

Third Sector -We have been working with the third sector for over ten years supporting over 1,700 IT users in a range of organisations including NSPCC, Children's 1st and Hillcrest Housing Association. We work in partnership with organisations to develop innovative IT strategies and services which reduce costs and improve services. Our Cloud based pay as you go computing services ensures organisations IT infrastructure is cost effective.

Commercial - Northgate focuses on mid-sector commercial customers delivering solutions and services to both national and regional organisations in manufacturing, retail, distribution and service industries.

In 2009 Northgate Managed Services was announced IT Services Supplier of the Year and Promoting IT Professionalism Finalist at the UK IT Industry Awards, NI Employer of the Year 2009, Public Sector Project of the Year and HP Partner of the Year (Ireland).
