Welcome to a new era in Further & Higher Education.

The North West Regional College, established in August 2007, brings together Limavady College and North West Institute to provide a vibrant further and higher education experience.

Offering education and training opportunities for people in the north west of Northern Ireland, NWRC will build on the excellence and achievements of both colleges, to ensure learners have the resources they need to reach their potential. The merger of the two colleges is a result of a review of Further Education by the Department of Employment & Learning.

We aim to offer an exciting learning experience for those wishing to specialise their studies, progress to higher education, or enhance their employment opportunities. Learners choose from a comprehensive range of study areas, each offering the knowledge and skills required to take learners to the next stage in their career.

A dedicated and experienced body of teaching and support staff ensure students find their time at college enjoyable and rewarding. Our facilities make for a sophisticated and comfortable learning environment, and include modern library & learning centres, ICT laboratories, studios, and conference facilities.

While education and training are the main focus for all students, we also encourage learners to participate in extra-curricular activities with us. A host of clubs and societies provide opportunities to get active, develop a particular talent, or just meet new friends.
