Norfolkline is a new name on the Irish Sea ferry market, previously known as Norse Merchant; we recently became part of Norfolkline Ltd by acquisition, which are part of the APMoller * Maersk Group. The group has an inline strategy with the APM group for continuous growth. As a result the opportunities available with us span the west of Europe and further.

We operate Ro/Ro freight and passenger services on the Irish Sea with over 100 sailings per week via a network of routes, between the ports of Liverpool (Birkenhead), Belfast, Dublin and Heysham.

The Irish Sea Passenger division of Norfolkline provides dedicated ferry services from Belfast and Dublin to Liverpool as a route leader, focusing on value for money and quality service. Our modern, Italian designed; purpose built vessels provide comfort and reliability all year round.

Our freight routes are designed to offer cost advantages for the transport operator. The longer sea crossings between the commercial centers of Dublin, Belfast and Liverpool coupled with the alternatives through Heysham facilitates easier, cost effective traffic planning for our clients.

The Norfolkline vision for the future is to be a leading, first class, multi-modal short sea carrier, operating dedicated freight and passenger services on the Irish Sea, Cross Channel and the North Sea, bridging the gap for transportation between Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.
