Lorien was founded in 1977 and is owned by Contracting Solutions Group (CSG). CSG is the ultimate holding company for the trading activities of Lorien’s resourcing business which are accounted for via Lorien Holdings, a 100% owned subsidiary. In addition to the resourcing business CSG has specialist business units providing training, research, print and engineering solutions.

Lorien is one of the top 10 largest IT staffing businesses in the UK based on ITSA revenues (Recruitment International Top 100 Report August 2007), and with offices in Leeds, London, Manchester and Edinburgh plus satellite offices in Lichfield and Heathrow, we pride ourselves on being a national company that provides a quality local service.

Lorien currently has over 200 formal preferred supplier agreements in place with major Clients and we supply to more than 500 Clients in total, many of whom we’ve worked with for several years. Our preferred supplier arrangements represent 75% of our total revenue and we have a reputation for providing a strong and consistent performance within preferred supplier accounts.
