Job Purpose

The main purpose of the role is to manage and oversee the home ensuring excellent care for residents by ensuring care standards are exceeded; you will have full responsibility for your staff giving guidance and direction and clear leadership.

The successful candidates will have at least two years previous experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager and the following skill set:

• Strong Leadership skills  and ability to lead and motivate staff
•  Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent understanding of care of the elderly including Dementia
• Demonstrable knowledge of Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) and Nursing Standards
