Health & Safety Officer, Belfast based. Travel required with the role

 

CSR are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join a prestigious Northern Irish Developer for major projects in Northern Ireland, Ireland and UK wide.

Salary: £25k Neg. DOE

Our client a Property Development firm based in Northern Ireland are looking for a Health and Safety Officer to join them in a permanent position based primarily in Belfast.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with 1 - 2 years’ experience (graduates also accepted) to join a fast growing developer with a number of live multi-million pound construction projects and several due to start.

There will be an element of Travel, UK wide with the job and possible overnight stays.

Main Responsibilities:

Carry out safety inspections on site (checking correct PPE worn, plant certificates, CSR cards etc)

Producing reports to coincide with inspections

Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Organise employees training courses

Must have relevant experience (preferably in a construction based role)

Qualifications:

Should have NEBOSH certificate as a minimum.

Strong knowledge of Health & Safety on site.

Strong knowledge of Commercial Building projects.

All accommodation, sustenance and transport provided whilst travelling.
