Brightwater NI is working directly with one of the largest Microsoft Solutions centres inBelfast in the next phase of their recruitment strategy. The organisation is respected globally and their presence in the NI market involves high level development and implementation work with a variety of Microsoft-based solutions to a range of private and public sector projects. Due to increasing workload there is now a requirement for a number of graduate Software Engineers to work within the Microsoft technology stack.

The Role

The successful applicants will enjoy the opportunity to perform ‘real work’ from Day One and will be given the opportunity to progress your programming skills and appreciation of the full development lifecycle. You will start by performing small enhancements and high level support work in order to learn how developers contribute to such large-scale projects. At the same time you will undergo a comprehensive range of internal and external training programmes.

You will be expected to embrace the fundamentals of MS development project work including .Net 4 framework, C# and SQL programming as well as more specialized technologies such as Sharepoint and BizTalk.

The Person

We are looking for ICT Graduates or Junior Developers, ideally with some commercial experience (placement years included here) who are ambitious and focused on building a Software Development career within the Microsoft toolset. You will need to have a strong degree as well as familiarity with the .Net framework and SQL Server.
