Buyer Tyrone Armagh Procurement Specialist Purchasing Manager

Our Client require a commercially minded Senior Buyer /Purchasing Manager to source mechanical and electrical suppliers and research markets. You should have strategic experience of cost saving and delivering added value on sourcing projects.

The Role (Strategic Buyer, Purchasing Manager, Procurement)

  • Manage sourcing of suppliers and develop relationships
  • Approve new lists of preferred suppliers and develop knowledge of global markets
  • Drive supplier negotiations and prepare analysis of strategies and global markets etc...
  • Forecast volumes with supply chain to facilitate the manufacturing division
  • Manage communication between vendors and company stakeholders

The Person (Strategic Buyer, Purchasing Manager, Procurement)

  • You will have strategic experience within a senior Purchasing/Sourcing role
  • You will be well versed in the procurement life cycle 
  • You will have a related degree or strong experiences to replace
  • You will have strong negotiation and communication skills and good commercial acumen
  • Candidates with CIPS may have an advantage
