Business Intelligence Specialist

Our client, a leader in the Consultancy and IT Services market, are looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Specialist to join their growing Development and Consultancy team inBelfast.

The successful candidate will have excellent client facing skills to work with a range of public and private sector clients.

Essential Criteria:

• Candidates must have in-depth experience of at least one of the following Business Intelligence tools:
• Business Objects XI
• Cognos 8
• Oracle BIEE
• SQL Server Reporting/Analysis Services
• Experience and demonstrated competencies with multi-dimensional design, star schemas, facts and dimensions
• Expertise in logical and physical data warehouse database design
• Experience in data warehouse performance optimisation
• Extensive knowledge of data modelling techniques
• Strong Oracle and SQL Server database background
• Good Knowledge of data warehouse design concepts, dimensional and data modelling is also required
• Experience in the use of one or more ETL tools:
• Business Object Data Integrator
• Cognos Data Manager
• IBM Datastage
• Oracle Warehouse Builder

• Security clearance or ability to achieve BC/CTC level security clearance
